Dual Weather Station

A traditional way to read the temperature and predict the weather.

Two devices in one - Storm Glass and Galileo Thermometer, presented on a wooden base.

The storm glass - once used by seafarers to predict oncoming storms. The barometer responds to atmospheric fluctuations to forecast the weather.

The Galileo Thermometer - In 1593 Galileo Galilei discovered that the density of liquids reacts predictably to changes in temperature. He invented a device that allowed temperature variation to be measured and this is the modern day equivalent. Temperature range 16°C-32°C
