Jo Luping 10cm Bowl White Harakeke

Harakeke or Flax is the symbol of family as the outer leaves represent the extended family members who must protect the inner shoots or children. Used for weaving kete, and making ropes.

Our bowl is made from porcelain, inside matte glaze with semi-gloss decal and unglazed outside. Each piece comes boxed with an image of the design on the lid and an info card on the inside with information about Jo Luping and each pieces artwork.

These pieces feature irregularities in both shape and form; this is part of the organic nature of the collection.
